Questions buyers actually ask
How much does a solar installation cost?
Cost depends on how much energy you use and how many hours of backup you need — the same house can need very different systems depending on whether it runs air conditioning. Use the system finder to get an indicative size, then request a quote and we will price that specification.
How do I know what system I need?
You do not need to work it out yourself. The system finder asks what you run and how long you need it for, then calculates array, inverter and storage capacity. A site assessment confirms the design before anything is ordered.
Can solar actually replace my generator?
For most households, yes — provided the system is sized against real load rather than bought off a shelf. Heavy intermittent loads such as welding or industrial machinery are assessed case by case, and some sites keep a generator as a last resort while running everything else on solar.
How long will the battery last?
Two different questions sit inside this one. Runtime per night depends on your load and the storage capacity installed — the system finder estimates it. Service life depends on the battery chemistry and how deeply it is cycled.
Do you install, or only supply?
Both. You can buy components from the shop if you have your own installer, or have Sunnovate design, supply, install and commission the complete system. Most clients choose the second.
Which security system is right for my property?
It depends on your entry points, sight lines and who needs access. A site survey establishes camera positions, door control points and detection coverage, and produces a specification you can price.
Do you offer maintenance after installation?
Yes, for both energy and security installations.
